Digitising and Snap Mode Improvements in Gemcom Surpac 6.3
Digitising has been vastly improved in Surpac 6.3 with a context menu and keyboard accelerators that allow you to change the snap mode without interrupting the flow of digitising activities.
While digitising, you can display the context menu by right clicking the mouse. You can then select a new snap mode and continue digitising.

The keyboard accelerators are shown to the right of each mode on the menu.
The most commonly used functions: undo, redo, close the current segment, start a new segment, and increment the digitiser string number, are accessible at the bottom of the menu.
Keyboard accelerators make digitising even quicker, as fewer mouse clicks are required.

The snap mode improvements are also integrated into functions to move and copy points, segments and strings.
